🚨🇺🇸 SPACEX HITS 100TH LAUNCH OF 2025... AND IT’S FOR BEZOS’ INTERNET PLAN
SpaceX Falcon 9 is scheduled to roar off Cape Canaveral carrying 24 satellites for Amazon’s Project Kuiper, Bezos’ answer to Elon's Starlink empire.
It will be the 97th Falcon 9 launch this year, plus a few Starship tests, putting SpaceX on track for a jaw-dropping 165 launches by year’s end.
The first stage is brand new, a rarity for the company known for boosters with more frequent flyer miles than most of us.
If all goes to plan, the booster will stick the landing on the drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas,” while the upper stage drops Kuiper’s satellites into orbit, growing its constellation to 102 on the way to more than 3,200.
