SpaceX Falcon 9 staat gepland om te vertrekken vanaf Cape Canaveral met 24 satellieten voor Amazon's Project Kuiper, Bezos' antwoord op Elon's Starlink-imperium.
Het zal de 97e Falcon 9-lancering dit jaar zijn, plus een paar Starship-tests, waardoor SpaceX op schema ligt voor een verbluffende 165 lanceringen tegen het einde van het jaar.
De eerste trap is gloednieuw, een zeldzaamheid voor het bedrijf dat bekend staat om boosters met meer frequent flyer-miles dan de meesten van ons.
Als alles volgens plan verloopt, zal de booster landen op het droneschip "A Shortfall of Gravitas," terwijl de bovenste trap Kuiper's satellieten in een baan om de aarde plaatst, waardoor de constellatie groeit naar 102 op weg naar meer dan 3.200.

🇺🇸AMAZON HITCHES A RIDE WITH SPACEX - TO BUILD A STARLINK RIVAL
Amazon’s latest Project Kuiper satellites are now heading to orbit - thanks to none other than Elon’s Falcon 9.
The KF-01 mission is taking 24 satellites into low Earth orbit, marking Bezos’ third Kuiper deployment and his first aboard a SpaceX rocket.
It’s a wild twist: Bezos is relying on his biggest rival to meet an FCC deadline to get half of Kuiper’s 3,236-satellite constellation live by mid-2026.
