For those who don't know about @capmoney_ yet - Cap is essentially a yield-bearing stablecoin that aims to: - decentralize the yield generation mechanism - generate the highest possible yields through the competition of operators, which are financial institutions Cap's advantages can be broadly categorized into two main points. First, it minimizes the risk to users' deposited assets. Cap utilizes @eigenlayer, allowing operators (who generate yields) to manage assets delegated by restakers. If operators show bad performance, the restakers' collateral is slashed, while successful execution leads to restakers' incentives. Here, Cap utilizes the "redistribution" mechanism recently introduced by EigenLayer, where the restakers' collateral confiscated through slashing is used to recover losses caused by operators. Therefore, it's designed to maximize the protection of users' yields. Second, there's high potential for yields. Cap places no restrictions on operators' profit generation methods and simultaneously exposes users to various strategies across both Web2 and Web3. This means users can take exposure to traditional financial products, MEV, RWA, whatever that generates yield. Since Cap's flywheel runs through its powerful operators, it's necessary to closely watch which operators onboard in the early stages. I'm personally very bullish on Cap tho ;)
