It’s hard to put into words- or even images- what I feel about the world right now. Most days, I keep my head down and focus on my family and craft. But I also believe we can’t be afraid to ask questions or stand up for basic human rights. I want my kids to grow up with the chance to experience life fully, not under the shadow of a technological Dark Age. Surveillance and data collection are turning us into statistics. Anti-semitism is spreading. Fake news overwhelms truth. Social media fuels division. What we need most is empathy. This isn’t about left vs. right- it’s about wrong vs. right. Technology can lift us up and give us wings, but in the wrong hands it can just as easily conquer us. I want my kids, and your kids, to inherit hope, not fear. Clichés aside- I hope you enjoy my song. It’s built from collaboration between AI apps and my own hands. I drew the art using markers and pen on paper, animated it with phone apps, and stitched it together with software. For the music, I used AI tools to help with writing and song creation, then split the stems, and added post-production on the same system I’ve used to make music for 20+ years. Even this description you are reading has bits of Ai assistance in it. Like much of my work, this is my way of documenting where we are as a society- and using some artistic amplification to address it.
