Senate Ag Chair Boozman tells me the White House asked his committee to “not go forward” with the nomination of CFTC Chair designate Brian Quintenz at this time. The WH had not given a reason or timeline on rescheduling but made the request this weekend.
“That’s the only communication we’ve had…and my question was how would you like us to respond and they said if there were any further questions to contact the White House,” he said. @business
