I am 100% rooting for Farcaster to stick, as I've long said crypto needs a more censorship resistant platform for its public square. BUT. I do feel the need to point out that a hype wave, followed by a slow decline to near irrelevance, has been the pattern for virtually every alternative platform for years now. This includes several that attempted to be more decentralized, in one form or another. If we're being intellectually honest, this is the most likely scenario here as well. I'm hoping Farcaster is the exception. Follow me @ bendi.
