Meta just handed its most ambitious AI project to Alexandr Wang, the 28-year-old billionaire behind Scale AI.
After dropping out of MIT at 19, Wang built a company that now fuels AI for OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and the Pentagon.
With Meta investing over $10 billion into Scale and aiming for $65B in AI infrastructure this year, Wang will lead its new lab focused on super intelligence, AI that surpasses human minds.
Scale’s revenue is set to double to $2B.
Wang owns 15%, making him worth over $2B and now, Meta’s new AI ace.
