Every time I write about RISE, I get excited: Blockchains are too slow, even with improvements. It seems like a simple problem, but it is the single biggest blocker to adoption. RISE achieves the speed of the modern web onchain, while designed from day 1 to prioritize decentralization. We are achieving as low as 3ms latency consistently which gives a real time user experience. We will maintain such performance at scale, and so far our testnet has been able to handle over 50k transactions in a single 1-second block, all on standard 32GB hardware. This combination unlocks new use cases not possible before onchain such as fully onchain orderbooks, composable money legos built on top, real-time money markets and more. 😎
