In the cryptocurrency world over the years, I have never lost a private key / recovery phrase, nor have I ever been hacked. The first time I lost a wallet backup was actually with the Binance Web3 wallet. It changed user habits, backing up to iCloud or using a QR code image, which are both very counterintuitive. It's neither centralized (you can't recover it through KYC identity) nor decentralized (you can't back up the recovery phrase), this wallet really opened my eyes. Fortunately, the balance isn't much, so I can just delete it and start over.
