A Quiet Observation 1536 x 1024 73,279 bytes Token ID #10 Sam sits in front of his computer, projecting the Masquerade with his two-month-old, Syla. It’s late. He’s reviewed a bunch of observations today and he’s tired. Syla’s already asleep in his lap. Just as he’s about to call it a night, one last observation catches his eye. Unstuck Muckery. It was tucked behind another, easy to miss. Sam pauses, thinking it over, keeping his thoughts to himself. I feel connected to Sam and Syla in a simple way. All of our initials are SS. I’ve never really shared my middle name with anyone, but let’s just say it is very close to Syla. The world is funny like that. I was lucky to leave a little imprint on his masterpiece, and that means a lot. I used the observation as a way to journal. It was a fulfilling exercise, probably one I really needed.
