You're all being very dramatic about a race that is not and will not become competitive. It ended in all but name on June 24th. Mamdani will get his chance to govern, if he does well, he'll move up and Dems will like him. If he fails, he become Johnson 2.0

National Dems and especially NYS Dems refusing to endorse Mamdani because they're afraid of getting frozen out by big donors are courting the death of the party via this race. The bargain is Cuomo murdering the Democratic party as a national brand. I hope they realize that.
It's like complaining that Sanders won't endorse Clyburn or somthing. It doesn't matter! The race is the primary.
I think NYS Dems are being dumb, but this is not "the death of the party as a national brand."
Polling at least is not competitive so far.
