There's an epidemic of astroturfing in AI right now I get offered money regularly now to post positively about AI apps and I know people on here who take that money There's tens of millions of dollars spent on this because they know having someone big tweet positive about your app has a higher return than buying ads these days But don't you have to disclose if you got paid for a tweet? Yes, so the smart new workaround is giving influencers stock in your company. Most startups are private (pre-IPO) and you don't need to disclose you own their stock when you tweet about them I think this stuff disturbs the free debate on here though, you don't know if people actually like a product or not I will keep tweeting what I really think about things and won't take payment to tweet ever thxxx
