New York used to lead the world in finance. Now? The BitLicense is strangling innovation. Startups are leaving. Big companies can’t operate in the state. Billions in investment are going elsewhere. @AdrienneHarrisNY @GovKathyHochul @JSandersNYC, you’re killing NY’s competitive edge by doing absolutely nothing to end BitLicense after 10 years of its asinine and exploitative existence. The reality is that the BitLicense is slow, costly, and hostile to builders and we are the only state that has anything like it. Other states are welcoming the companies YOU chased away. It’s time to scrap this relic and make NY a leader in finance again.
