I am always going to root for talent and business and wealth to migrate from CA/NY to the Atlantas and Dallases of the world but between AI and the dormant resale housing market it’s clear that all the action is in SF/NYC again while the Sun Belt has stagnated.

The Amazon HQ2 race through the inflation spike in 2022 was a golden age of Sun Belt migration as knowledge jobs and coastal migrants came in. That era’s over, unclear what comes next.
