I’ve never really understood why so many people react negatively to the "Block" button. Honestly, I see it as one of the most valuable and underrated tools we have online. We’re all born into different lives different upbringings, environments, beliefs, and goals. It’s only natural that, at some point, we’ll encounter people whose presence doesn’t align with ours. And that’s okay. Earlier, I saw a post from a friend and realized that someone had blocked me… even called me a bot 😂 I’m not sure what the full context was, but I felt no anger, no bitterness. Just neutrality. I’ve blocked plenty of people before, and I’m sure others have done the same to me. It doesn’t bother me. That’s just part of existing in a massive, diverse online space. Blocking isn’t hostility. It’s just digital boundaries. And boundaries are healthy. So if you’ve ever been blocked or felt the need to do it. Don’t overthink it. Protect your peace and move on.
