🛰️ $stATOM Deprecation on Mars’ Neutron Outpost Due to the winding down of AADAO operations, nearly all stATOM/ATOM liquidity on Neutron is being removed. AADAO currently controls the vast majority of that liquidity, and its planned redemption process will leave $stATOM on Neutron effectively illiquid. Tldr 🧵👇 Due to the anticipated removal of nearly all $stATOM liquidity on Neutron, Mars may soon be unable to guarantee safe liquidations. To protect users and preserve protocol stability, we are preparing to deprecate $stATOM as collateral to protect users and maintain protocol stability. If you’re currently borrowing against $stATOM or using it in HLS positions on Neutron, we strongly recommend unwinding those positions by Monday, July 29, ahead of the planned delisting. This change does not affect $stATOM usage on Osmosis, it applies only to the Neutron deployment. We’ll monitor any changes. As soon as $stATOM liquidity is reintroduced on Neutron, we will reconsider re-listing the asset.
