Stylistically it recalls Surrealist automatic drawing à la André Masson while echoing data aesthetics …as if the face is being rendered or erased by an algorithmic wind. A soft ghost-like face emerges delicately from chaotic mark-making, evoking Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep. Step back and disorder gives way to clarity — a face half-lost in dream drawn from the ether as the title suggests. The visual duality mirrors the theme: clarity and chaos, presence and dissolution.
