Until recently we didn’t feel like we had a differentiated view or unique angle to launch a token. On top of that, timing never felt right. But things have changed. It currently feels like memecoins are having their mid-2022 moment that NFTs had. People still love memecoins, but they are starting to get sour on them because they feel like unless you are part of the team or are super early in buying, you are being taken for a ride. Funny enough, that was the exact climate that made the original Goblintown work so well, it was the opposite of everything everyone else was doing. We truly believe the market is hungry for a fresh take on memecoins. One that challenges the industry norms and (hopefully) does better for everyone involved.
