This is a true story Like 8 years ago I taught a friend how to make hip hop beats and how to sell them He got really good and consistently made fun of me when he started selling more than I did When I started to make big money in crypto I talked to him and he wanted me to teach him how to trade/invest He leveraged up, lost a ton of his earnings from music sales, going against everything I told him to do Some time after that I got a text from his MOM telling me to stop talking about money because he could not handle the fact I was having sucess and he wasn’t I didnt reply and never spoke to him again Lost quite a few connections since my success happened, no regrets That was a lesson for me to spend my time and energy on myself instead of others

Officially doubled my SPOT trading portfolio in 2 months Created it at end of May and allocated 8% of my crypto networth at the time: > +105% performance > Max Drawdown: 3.25% > Volume: ~$9M > Trade Count: I'd say max 30 trades, but if you have a website I can use to find that, lmk > Win rate: 90%+ (don't know for sure, can't find dashboard to calculate it, but prob close to it) Things I've learned: > You can trade spot and make a lot of money > Quick, small wins stack up > I'd always sell at a minimal loss, never cared if I missed the upside from there on, which makes it easy to cut positions > There's no point trying to ride trades when it doesn't feel comfortable > Only buying when coins dump hard is all I've done, didn't have any goal to do many trades all the time > Did not care to extract the most from each trade - whenever I made money, I'd be happy and take the cash out Have bought some Bitcoins with the gains and put it on my cold storage - thankful for the luck I've had in this small but good journey

Never look for short oportunities when there is demand for the coin

It's easy to make money when you let go of ego and bias and bid the strongest coins You've had SOL and Fartcoin Then HYPE Now it's ETH and SPX You are trading in hard mode when not bidding the coins with volume and strength - being a good trader/investor is knowing how to receive new information and act on it

Thoughts on Ethereum Incredibly bullish to see Ethereum ATTEMPT to breakout from $4K. It has tried to do it 5 TIMES in the past and never broke out so I'm hoping (and betting) that it will this time. However, it is no time to celebrate. This move has been driven by institutional flows and treasury companies and we are about to enter the weekend. Best case scenario would be for ETH to pump into the next hours and hold $4K during the weekend which will for sure have scam price action I am positioned in SPX from $1.46 and have topblasted the ETH breakout right at $4K Will cut fast if things turn

My financial wellbeing is currently 40% tied to Ethereum and its beta plays If this is a failed breakout then $ETH is perpetually cooked and Solana will takeover again in Q4

You can HATE ethereum right now but PRAY for its sucess in breaking out from $4K RIGHT NOW I am manifesting a massive pump and my beta to outperform

I doubt ETH will make a new ATH in August However, I decided to buy SPX at ~$1.46 for the eventuality of being wrong So far it's looking GREAT. Eager to get to ATHs as soon as Ethereum allows it.

Solana is still the king of onchain economies You can believe it isn't but data doesn't lie App revenue is rising even with markets cooling off Its economy is organic and independent from one or two people on CNBC saying it will flip BTC

My thoughts on the $SOL performance: - Solana went from $8 to $300, that's a 37.5x in 2 years - It was one of the only tokens to outperform Bitcoin - It was one of the only tokens to reach a new ATH in MARKET CAP and PRICE So why is it underperforming now? I believe that the underperformance is related to how aggressive its run was and the expectations for its future > Older holders sold/are selling > Lots of people trapped from $200 to $300 capitulating on every pump > Many think Solana can't replicate the conditions of January hence it won't reach new ATHs > The appearance of new players (Hyperliquid) that took away some marketshare from one of its key catalysts Here's the thing, Solana doesn't need to replicate a TRUMP memecoin launch to get to new ATHs, it can naturally come with adoption, network improvements and maybe finally an approval of better tokenomics (lower inflation) There may be better coins right now that offer quicker gains but SOL will have its day again
