La primera edición de este libro, de Andreas y Gavin, fue una obra maestra, pero irónicamente, también es parte de lo que llevó a Andreas a distanciarse del espacio.
Los maximalistas de Bitcoin decidieron que ya no estaba "alineado", solo porque mostró interés en algo más allá de Bitcoin.
Tengo que decir, que se jodan ustedes. Siempre estaré en contra de cualquier tipo de maximalismo.

Bitcoin es bueno
Salgan, experimenten, dejen de lado el tribalismo y recuerden, el enemigo no está dentro del espacio.

I probably have the biggest announcement of my career to make.
Me, @crypto_ita2, and @idrocortisone are going to write "Mastering Ethereum: Second Edition." It is an honor for us to have the opportunity to update the masterpiece of @aantonop and @gavofyork.
This is the biggest announcement of my career yet because Andreas' work changed my life. I would not be here today, working in this industry, if it wasn't for "Mastering Bitcoin."
I met Andreas in Glasgow in November 2023:
He posted on his private Patreon asking if anyone wanted to get a beer a few days later in Glasgow. I had just returned to Italy from Glasgow, but honestly, I could not miss the chance to thank him in person, so I booked tickets and packed my books for a few autographs.
The trip was just that: a few beers together, autographs on my "Mastering Something" books/The Internet of Money, and then a flight back home.
While we were talking, I asked him why he was not updating "Mastering Ethereum: First Edition." I will not report the answer he gave me, out of respect for his privacy, but he said that he couldn't. Seeing a possibility, I immediately asked him if he was open to collaborations on it.
Not only did he accept, but he also put me in contact with O'Reilly's editor in less than 24 hours (much less, actually).
Knowing it was a big task, I asked Alessandro and Niccolò to help me write this book. I truly hope that this will be something that helps newcomers, just as every single one of Andreas' books has done in the past.
So, what happens now? There will be a pre-release, with 2 chapters available soon (very soon). We will also release other chapters gradually and aim for a full publication in about a year from now.
I cannot thank Andreas enough for giving me this incredible opportunity and for everything he has done for the crypto space.
