just talking to a talented engineer who was lamenting the code quality of a PM who prototypes concepts with vibe coding these days "You don’t want to look at the code" he says sure, but just get the thing working and you can make the code more pro later. prompt the llm with something like this: "look at this repo and tell me what's going on. explain what this software is intending to do. then propose ways we could refactor the code to make it simpler. don't write/change any code yet. just analyze, explain, and propose what we might want to do. I will review and approve before we start refactoring anything"

Wisprflow vs. SuperWhisper for vibe coding?

the single best piece of advice for getting great design out of a new @replit app is to start by designing a great logo before anything else it's a surprising result, but once you try it, it seems obvious LLMs/chat services are "people-pleasers" and they often act like a "dog-on-a-bone"... they just get deeper in the direction they're already headed so if you start it off by demonstrating you're the type of person who has good taste and cares about good design you'll find it becomes a default expectation to the LLM for the UX of the rest of the app I learned this trick from @matbalez on our vibecast livestream yesterday where we built Pictagories from an idea to a playable game on the web in 60 minutes

I want a vibe-coding app for local MacOS I should just provide taste/direction, but no clicking + voice input like Superwhisper + types into Claude Code + clicks in Xcode to build/run/deploy/archive (or manages build/release versions through CLI) + clicks around on the web on DigitalOcean, Replit, GCP to do stuff I want/need for configuration/deployment/etc. (access my 1Password 😬?) + screenshots iOS simulator to enable bug reports from the running app and submits to Claude Code for pairing with my feedback
