Brave, a privacy-focused browser, has introduced a new feature where users can now receive their earned Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) directly into their own Solana cryptocurrency wallets instead of relying on a third party. this "self-custody" option, gives users more control over their rewards, earned by viewing privacy-friendly ads, without needing to verify their identity (KYC) or pay extra fees to a middleman. to set it up, users can connect a solana wallet (like Brave Wallet or others) through the browser’s BAT icon and may need a small amount of SOL (Solana’s currency) for transaction fees. some regions might not have access due to local rules and users with existing setups need to reset or use a new browser profile to switch. i’m excited about this step toward decentralization and freedom in managing my earnings
